Here at the Nanny Connection we only ever recruit Nannies who have our traditional values. We look for a true passion, respect and love when caring for children as well as adequate knowledge and training. We also look for organised, enthusiastic and bright individuals who can fulfil a child’s needs emotionally as well as the every day tasks. Most of our Nannies will have a minimum qualification as detailed below. We offer full time nannies, part time nannies, rota nannies and temporary nannies.
The role of the Nanny is to become their caregiver and connect with their charges in the children's own home. This could be as a sole charge nanny or a shared care nanny. They can work as a daily nanny, or a live in nanny.

Nannies can work part time (under 30 hours per week) or full time (up to around 60 hours per week). They can work on a permanent or temporary basis. Please note we only recruit for positions of a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Sometimes other roles can be incorporated into a nanny's role if the child's age allows or there is additional help. For example if the child attends nursery or school, this could create time for a Nanny to be able to do other duties around the house, perhaps cook family meals (Nanny/Chef), attend to horse duties (Nanny/Groom), PA duties (Nanny/PA), or develop educational activities if tutoring or working as a governess (Nanny/Governess or Nanny/Tutor).
A permanent Nanny will be employed, with a working contract with fixed hours, tax, national insurance and pension contributions paid by the family. They are not normally self employed, unless they work for more than two families.
